Are you looking for easy cleaning solutions to groom your dog at home?
We’ve looked at some of the best products on the market to help keep your pup smelling fresh. There are so many options to choose from so we’ve narrowed it down depending on you and your pup’s preferences. You can choose from a range of paw washes, pet jet washes, environmentally friendly paw wipes, shampoos, and deodorizers.
Paw Washes
- Traditional hose and cold water. On a winter afternoon it is probably not appealing to your poor pup to withstand a cold paw wash after. It is an option and effective but there are a few other nicer options available.
- Cleaning cups. Fill simple rubber or plastic based cups with (preferably warm) water and you dip your pup’s paws to rinse clean. If your dog is patient enough to do this, this is a really budget friendly option. Not all dogs are a fan of this method. You may need to empty the dirty water and refill it with fresh water, depending on how dirty your dog’s paws are.
- Silicone based cleaning tools. There are simpler paw cleaning tools on the market like Bugalugs foaming paw cleaner. They come in a few really nice scents like Papaya & Coconut, Lavender & Chamomile, Oatmeal, and Baby Fresh. The silicone scrub on the end is very gentle on your pup’s paws and effectively cleans in a jiffy!
Pet Jet Washes
There are a few decent pet jet washes in the market like Mud Daddy and Petacarium. These are really good to travel in the car or to use once you get home from a muddy walk. You can fill jet washes with warm water, using the attached hose to effectively clean off dirt and mud.
